请教一下明文iboot都会有啥好处吗？

苹果在macOS15beta更新中提到：firmware encryption has been disabled for iBoot on iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS
这个对于开发者或者用户有什么方便之处吗？我看见asahi的开发者也提及这件事情了，对于他们会有影响吗？

The firmware image for iBoot will be made available in cleartext in the PCC image. To reduce the overhead imposed by firmware encryption and align policies where appropriate, firmware encryption has been disabled for iBoot on iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS.
