Kingdoms and Castles is a game about how to grow a kingdom from a small village to a prosperous city and a magnificent castle.
Your kingdom must survive in a living and dangerous world. Will the Viking gangs sail away with your settlers in the holds? Or are they buried with arrows on the approaches to the walls? Will your barn burn the dragon, and will people die of starvation in winter, or can you fight back the beast? The success of your kingdom depends solely on your skills to build cities and castles.

City design
Strategically develop your city to improve the happiness of your settlers and attract new residents. Use taxes to support your expenses. Make sure your residents are fed up in the winter and not sick with plague. Build churches to protect them from despair and taverns so that they can have fun. You can even have a festival if you build a town square! Send foresters to cut the forest, build a stone quarry to build a castle, and cultivate the land efficiently so that your city can grow and prosper.
Strengthen and protect
The land on which you settled is threatened by Viking raids. Raiders dream to kidnap and kill your settlers, steal your resources, and burn your city to the ground. Use a powerful castle building system with blocks that can be placed anywhere. Towers and walls are created dynamically based on how you compose and organize them. The towers of archers and other weapons increase the radius of destruction depending on the height of the tower. Use different approaches in order to better protect your kingdom and show your valor as a king or queen.
